The food! Nashville has some of the best with Instagram worthy pictures for all foodies. From our signature hot chicken to adorable brunch spots, here are a few you must try on your next visit!
Breakfast/Brunch
Pinewood Social- Located downtown, this trendy spot serves brunch, Crema Coffee, and has an indoor bowling alley! Parking is easily available right in front but I would get there early and be prepared to wait as this place gets busy. The food is amazing and due to its location, the views of the city are even better!
Milk and Honey- Located in The Gulch, this breakfast spot opened a few years ago and the line has not stopped since. It is always packed so I recommend putting your name on the list early and exploring the super cute Gulch area while you wait! I have spotted several country music stars here so you just never know who you’ll be seated next to.
Franklin Juice Company- If there is one place that I miss most about the city… it is this delicious acai and juice company. I mean it is the BEST acai I have ever had! You get a lot for your money and it is worth every bite. Located on 12 South, in Franklin, along with several other locations across Nashville!
Loveless Cafe- This historic cafe is probably one of the most popular breakfast spots in all of Nashvegas. Located about 30 minutes out of the city but definitely worth the drive. It is off the city path but full of southern comfort favorites for everyone in your group to enjoy!
Lunch/Dinner
McDougals- I use to work at Vanderbilt University and would walk to McDougals in Hillsboro Village for lunch. This is a popular spot for students, staff, and doctors in the area. Sooo good and such a cute hidden gem that was once a home turned into a business. I recommend you try the honeybee sauce! There is limited seating so I would get your order to go just in case you don’t find a table. Best part is that you get free ice cream at the end of your meal :)
Prince’s Hot Chicken- Sure Hattie B’s is also a great option but very overhyped and the lines are always out the door. If you want the best hot chicken, you should try this local favorite. They have a location near the city and you can also find their food truck.
The Pharmacy- Amazing burgers and floats located in cozy East Nashville. This part of town is very up and coming but still contains historic roots. Perfect for lunch or dinner to enjoy in their biergarden!
Burger Up- Another delicious burger joint with two locations in Nashville. Located in East Nashville and 12 South where I have had my fair share of their amazinggg sweet potato fries.
Martin’s BBQ- Looking for some great southern barbecue? Hands down, I would recommend Martins. Great food and several locations across the state!
Bombay Palace- If you love Indian food as much as I do, then this is your spot. Located on West End across from Vanderbilt University, my coworkers and I would walk over for lunch all the time. Looks simple from the outside but this narrow spot is packed with flavor. I recommend the chicken korma with garlic naan!
